Josh Tostado & Jari Kirkland Dominate Solo Classes at Suzuki 24 Hours of Moab.

San Diego, CA- October 12, 2008 - This weekend, top pros from around the world gathered at this legendary course to settle the still-unanswered question: who is the greatest 24-Hour mountain bike racer in the world for 2008? Josh Tostado and Tinker Juarez took top place on the podium for the Men’s Solo Class while Jari Kirkland took top honors for the Women’s Solo Class. Proudly, all 3 athletes ride only NiteRider.

Josh Tostado, who had promised a “battle right from the start”, lived up to his pre-race comments with a pace setting time of 1:07 for his first lap on the 14.9 mile course which contained 1,100 feet of climbing in each lap. Josh won the Solo Men’s class completing 17 laps during the 24-Hour Race. One of mountain bike racing’s most accomplished heroes, as well as 2007 World Champion and Mountain Bike Hall of Fame inductee, Tinker Juarez captured second place.

Jari Kirkland cruised to first place in the Solo Women’s Class after completing 13 laps. A full two laps ahead of her closest competitor. Incredibly, with the win, Jari became a three-time winner of the 24-Hours of Moab Solo Women’s Class!
